I felt like I was on LJ...without all the bullshit. How do you import entries from dreamwidth to LJ???

And you can import EVERYTHING: tags, comments, icons, filters, entries...everything. It even keeps the posts at the security level you originally used on LJ.

There are all kinds of other communities that look just like LJ since they have their code as open source. Over the years I've had a lot of them... deadjournal and greatestjournal to come mind

Yeah, but I looked at those sites when LJ was still hopping and I didn`t wasn`t really impressed because I was happy with LJ. Now I`m really annoyed with LJ and I want to move to keep up two journals because I think LJ is on the decline and headed towards shut down. I dunno. I`m gonna play with dreamwidth and see what I think.

Btw, the reason why I asked you if you went to the cave is because I think I MET you there. I hung out with these kandi girls for a long time in 2006 and I keep thinking you may have been one of them...

I was there in 2008 but I was out of the country in 2007. I was REALLY disappointed with the 2008 party. It was totally different than how I remembered the cave in 2005. 2006 was alright but I could see it going downhill. I dunno, I've been in the Burner/psytrance scene for too long. Sphongle was one of the only reasons why I went to the cave last year because none of the other music was really interesting to me anymore. I've heard music all over the world and there's a lot more advanced things happening out here than in America. It's sad but true. It's weird because the electronic music in America sounds so dated to me these days and the new things have a totally new twist put on them. That can be interesting but it doesn't happen often :(

One of the reasons I came back over seas was to hear music.

Anyway, maybe I talked to you at the party. I dunno, but when I saw pictures of you, I thought, "DAMN. She looks REALLY familiar. Where could I have met her?" I dunno, I had ridiculously long dreds and I was wearing psychedelic style at the time so I was kind of hard to miss. lol.

Are you totally switching? I wouldn't mind getting an account on there but I've had LJ for like 8 years now so I'd feel REALLY weird switching.

Nah, I`m not switching for good. LJ will still be around. I`m just curious about other sites that may be more active. I can import stuff so it would be no big deal keeping both around. However, I need to find the time to actually play with it because I`m mad busy these days...
